Physical Therapist

Job Summary:
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients aged 12 and older with movement limitations due to medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
- Implement wellness programs to prevent mobility loss.
- Ensure all documentation complies with UAMS policies and HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in Physical Therapy.
- Certified MDT and/or OCS.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish-English).
Special Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
- Must have a strong background in treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate to clinic staff, physicians, and the public.
- Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to conduct and interpret tests administered to patients.
