Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our dining center.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in departmental quality assurance programs.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwasher to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitizing of dishware, pots, and pans.
  • Sort, stack, and soak dishes and flatware in proper containers according to standardized procedures.
  • Keep all equipment and working areas clean and organized.
  • Assist in maintaining tray, china, and silverware supplies in the dining center.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and write or follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management personnel.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods and perform tasks that require good eye-hand coordination.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 6am-2:30pm, alternating weekends and rotating holidays. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.33/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
