Position Overview

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
  • A minimum of six years of experience in staffing or action officer roles within the Department of Defense (DOD) or other federal entities
  • Familiarity with DOD financial management within federal organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for financial management and resource distribution of acquisition initiatives
  • Solid understanding of various logistical operations, including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation logistics

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a Property Book Officer capacity or a related position
  • Certification in Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE)
  • Demonstrated involvement in DOD policies, doctrines, or official correspondence
  • Experience in crafting official presentations and information documents for senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regular updates and assessments on funding status utilizing various data systems
  • Analyze funding needs and propose modifications for support strategies
  • Generate reports and presentations concerning civilian labor funding and its execution
  • Maintain approved equipment inventories and suggest improvements as necessary
  • Assist community working groups in reviewing and advancing equipment initiatives
