Job Summary:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Federal Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a critical network in support of Defensive Cyber Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in SAFe Agile Mission Deployment teams deploying Defensive Cyber Operations systems and networks.
  • Design and install internal and external networks using knowledge of network systems.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Certifications: JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with physical network hardware installation.
  • Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and authentication systems.
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies.
  • Automation and scripting experience in support of network deployments.
  • Experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field.
  • Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret.
  • DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Experience with Ansible for automated network builds and security hardening.
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts.
