Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Provider to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our members in accordance with professional practice standards.

About the Role:

  • You will assess, diagnose, and formulate treatment plans for patients with common acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform health maintenance services, including patient education, for well members.
  • Refer patients for specialty consultation or difficult problems.
  • Document patient care in medical records in accordance with medical and legal standards.
  • Provide medical care in accordance with accepted practice standards, hospital protocols, and state licensing guidelines.
  • Coordinate patient or department services, including developing protocols, screening referrals, and providing training.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree from an ANA-approved NP or AMA-approved PA training program or equivalent is required.
  • An Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (Washington) or Physician Assistant License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire is also necessary.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire, as well as Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.
  • Able to assess, diagnose, and treat common medical diseases and injuries.
  • Customer-focused service skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years clinical experience can be beneficial.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 per year. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran, or disability status.
