The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in clinical mental health counseling, developing and implementing curriculum, and supervising counseling students and interns. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as experience in clinical and supervisory settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses in clinical mental health counseling
  • Develop and implement curriculum for the Mental Health Counseling Program
  • Supervise counseling students and interns
  • Contribute to the development of a student-inclusive research program
  • Participate in department and college service
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision
  • License-eligible to practice in Utah
  • Supervisory and clinical experience in multiple clinical settings
  • Research potential and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Successful face-to-face teaching experience at the graduate level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple years of successful teaching at the graduate level
  • Publications in a peer-reviewed journal and/or presentations at a regional or national counseling conference
  • At least two years of full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor
