We're currently recruiting for a compassionate Home Health Speech Therapist to reliably serve patients in Montgomery County.

This is a full-time or part-time, pay-per-point position with flexible schedules for work-life balance.

As a BAYADA Speech Therapist, you'll use your clinical skills and compassionate heart to treat patients where they want to be the most - in the comfort of their own home.

You'll see a client through their care needs, from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Developing a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
  • Continually assessing and revising the speech therapy care plan and participating with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
  • Educating and instructing patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
  • Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.

Requirements include:

  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Possessing a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or having the equivalent educational requirements and work experience necessary for such a certificate.
