Pediatric Psychiatrist

Position Overview

A Pediatric Psychiatrist is required to provide exceptional mental health care to young patients. The primary responsibility of the Psychiatrist is to ensure comprehensive treatment and support for children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full-time, permanent role
2. Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
3. Administer and prescribe psychotherapeutic medications and treatments
4. Address mental, emotional, and behavioral issues in patients of various age groups
5. Evaluate and analyze patient assessments and diagnostic results
6. Work collaboratively with primary care and mental health teams to develop treatment strategies
7. Involves both inpatient and outpatient care settings

Qualifications Required:

1. Valid medical license in Virginia
2. Board Certification in Psychiatry
3. Experience in inpatient settings
4. Active DEA registration
