At Skyview Nursing Center, we are seeking a skilled Dietary Operations Manager to lead our culinary team in providing high-quality food services to our residents. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

About the Job

This position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in quantity food preparation in a residential or healthcare facility, an Associate Degree in Food Service Management from an accredited Technical School, and excellent supervisory and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and instruct kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate and requisition food quantities, utilizing leftovers and optimizing menu planning
  • Prepare and serve modified diet menus, adhering to nutritional standards and resident preferences
  • Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and storage facilities, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with managers, dietitians, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve quality service goals
Working Conditions

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, interruptions, and interactions with personnel, visitors, and residents. The successful candidate will be provided with necessary protective equipment and devices.
