Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital. This 13-week contract opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and maintaining accurate records. As a member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering contrast media and positioning patients correctly
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment

Requirements:

• Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
• Experience working with CT scanners and related equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
