Job Overview:

Cafeteria Aides play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school cafeteria, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students during meal times. This role is essential in helping maintain an organized and efficient food service area while promoting a positive dining experience for all students.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students, ensuring adherence to portion sizes and dietary guidelines.
  • Cafeteria Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the cafeteria, including wiping down tables, disposing of trash, and ensuring all areas are sanitized and safe for use.

Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with children and maintain a positive, respectful attitude towards students and staff.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; previous experience in a school cafeteria or similar environment is a plus.
