Qualifications & Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have completed an approved Nurse Aide Training Program. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to our residents, facilitating activities, and maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in and receiving resident reports at the start and end of your shift.
  • Providing personal and nursing care in accordance with the resident care plan.
  • Facilitating and conducting activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Monitoring and responding to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for our residents.
  • Assisting in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center.
  • Ensuring that all resident care is provided in a dignified and respectful manner.
  • Performing basic nursing care procedures for residents as required.
  • Creating a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Ensuring that resident's food service needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Maintaining resident documentation records for activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms.
  • Maintaining and working within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Attending and participating in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of care.
  • Performing other related activities as assigned or requested.
