  • Facilitate training and development for team members, ensuring all required training is completed according to established standards.
  • Evaluate daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and devise effective solutions to expedite these situations.
  • Support staff in their job functions to ensure optimal service delivery to guests.
  • Oversee and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
  • Perform housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson duties as necessary.
  • Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of service provided to guests through effective management of the housekeeping department's functional areas, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures of Shaner and/or franchise. Direct, implement, and uphold a robust service and management philosophy that serves as a guiding principle for respective staff.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping within the hospitality sector; supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of effectively communicating with guests, management, and colleagues to ensure mutual understanding.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling requirements, and equipment usage.
