Houston Methodist is seeking a highly motivated Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our linen delivery services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitals.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for delivering clean linens to designated patient areas and ancillary departments using an identified linen exchange/stocking program. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clean linens to patients and staff in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records of linen deliveries and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless linen delivery and minimize disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines and hospital policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in laundry or customer service preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols

Salary:$40,000 - $50,000 per year
