Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical and emotional care to clients with mental illness and/or developmental delays
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Participate in safety management, crisis intervention, and prevention
- Document client progress and report any concerns to the designated staff
- Perform household duties, such as cleaning and laundry, as needed
- Drive and escort clients to community outings and appointments
- Completion of a minimum of six months post-high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent
- CNA certification or one to two years of college education preferred
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
