Endoscopy Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician I to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a critical role in providing assistance to physicians and other healthcare providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
Key responsibilities include following clearly defined endoscopy procedures, integrating education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. You will also support the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, decontamination, and setup as needed.
Additionally, you will adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety and help deliver optimal patient care. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of gastrointestinal principles, procedures, views, and equipment, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent education/experience, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification, and general knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment:
This is a per diem/casual position with a variable schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week and be available to work a variety of shifts, including days and weekends.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $25.64 to $32.03 per hour. Sutter Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
