Job Overview

Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Sensory Speech & OT Therapy LLC is in search of a skilled **Speech Language Pathologist** to deliver specialized therapy services to individuals of all ages experiencing challenges related to Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This position entails the identification, evaluation, and treatment of clients facing communication and speech impairments, along with sensory processing issues.

The successful candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, offering guidance to clinical personnel and collaborating with external Speech Language Pathologists as necessary. Key duties include the formulation and execution of tailored Plans of Care, participation in team meetings, and maintaining high standards of therapeutic interventions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology License
  • Availability for full-time work
  • Physical capabilities to meet job demands, including:
    • Quick response abilities (e.g., standing up, walking swiftly)
    • Engagement in physical activities for extended periods
    • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in Speech Language Pathology
  • Experience with clients diagnosed with ASD
  • Collaboration experience with Occupational Therapists and/or ABA Therapists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously assess treatment programs and care plans in collaboration with the Program Supervisor.
  • Adjust treatment goals based on client-specific needs in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to evaluate clients' communication and speech capabilities.
  • Integrate speech-language pathology objectives into behavioral therapy settings as needed.
  • Conduct regular reviews for all clients, ensuring updated Plans of Care are maintained.
  • Document all required information accurately and timely.
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise clinical records.
  • Engage in treatment planning as applicable.
  • Provide leadership and training on therapeutic techniques to other staff members.
  • Ensure timely responses to service referrals and maintain communication with clients and families.
