About Our FacilityWe are a 250-bed comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including three helipads, new ICU and medical/surgical floors, and burn care services. Our CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality care.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this critical care position, you will provide direct patient care, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment. You will identify nursing problems, plan individualized patient care, and participate in performance improvement activities, all while fostering the goals of our hospital's mission and vision statement.
You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a therapeutic environment, making staff assignments based on patient need, acuity, and the skill of the staff. As a role model and clinical resource for the staff, you will respond promptly to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current TN RN licensure/Compact state
- BLS: All Nursing Staff
- ACLS: within six months of hire or transfer
