Job Summary:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will perform duties under the direction of the operative surgeon. The CRNA will be able to interpret data with regards to the patient's age-specific needs and provide the care needed by the patient group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform anesthesia services for orthopedic surgeries, including orthopedic, spine, hand, foot, and ankle procedures.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on anesthesia-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program.
  • Current Nurse Anesthetist License and Certification.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience with ophthalmology anesthesia required.
