About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Computed Tomography (CT) department at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities to radiologists.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and protocols, recommending updates or refinements as necessary.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date.
Education
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
