Position Overview:
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist plays a crucial role in delivering extensive pharmaceutical care to patients across the healthcare facility. This position involves supervising pharmacy technicians and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective administration of medications while maintaining optimal pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Optimize medication therapy and manage dispensing processes.
- Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Reconcile medications and offer drug information.
- Manage adverse drug reactions and engage in quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulations.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of Georgia.
