Trabajando en conjunto con el CEO, el Especialista en Investigación Científica tiene la responsabilidad de liderar y desarrollar una organización de investigación y desarrollo científico de clase mundial, construyendo los planes estratégicos, procesos, iniciativas e infraestructura operativa necesarios para respaldar la visión en expansión de la empresa, escalando el volumen y logrando resultados que cumplan y, en última instancia, superen los objetivos de la empresa y las demandas de los clientes.
Deberes Esenciales del Trabajo Incluyen, Pero No Se Limitan A:
- Gestión de la Fuerza Laboral de Investigación
Planificar, dirigir y supervisar toda la actividad de la fuerza laboral de I+D a través de reuniones, procedimientos de informes, software de gestión de trabajos, capacitación y delegación de tareas para asegurar que todos los proyectos de investigación avancen a un ritmo aceptable. - Operaciones y Seguridad del Laboratorio
Desarrollar y mantener el inventario del laboratorio, procedimientos operativos estándar (SOP) y protocolos de seguridad de acuerdo con las pautas establecidas para garantizar operaciones de investigación ininterrumpidas y la salud de los empleados. - Gestión de Proyectos
Interactuar con los clientes en todos los proyectos asignados en proceso. - Control de Calidad
Realizar inspecciones de control de calidad en todos los proyectos asignados en proceso utilizando observación directa, experiencia adquirida/evaluación técnica y estándares de la industria establecidos para asegurar que todo el trabajo realizado por la empresa cumpla con los estándares de calidad establecidos. - Informes Internos y Externos
Reportar tanto resultados científicos como comerciales a las partes relevantes. La presentación de datos científicos y comerciales es una función crítica de este rol.
Requisitos Generales:
- Además de los requisitos básicos de conocimiento y experiencia citados anteriormente, se enumeran a continuación requisitos adicionales.
- Agudeza empresarial: habilidades de análisis de alto nivel, pensamiento crítico y toma de decisiones son necesarias.
- Habilidades de comunicación efectivas, persuasivas y convincentes son críticas.
- Conocimiento tecnológico y comodidad con herramientas de gestión de datos, incluyendo pero no limitado a plataformas de software como R y Python.
