United Health Care Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Oxnard, California. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for critically ill cardiovascular patients.
  • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and lab results, recognizing and responding to changes in condition promptly.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify individualized care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and self-management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in code blue situations and other emergency protocols, demonstrating the ability to act quickly and efficiently.
  • Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
