The Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Engineer to implement the technology strategy for our software delivery teams with guidance from engineering leadership. You will focus on developing reusable software components, patterns, and tooling to address complex data challenges. Your outcomes will be a contributor to achieving our long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve scalable data pipelines and builds our new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
  • Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality.
  • Actively contribute to the engineering team through code reviews and hands-on design sessions.
  • Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
  • Review and recommend architectural patterns for data access and performance that align with the company's best practices and platforms.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of developing APIs.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience with GraphQL, NodeJS, Apollo Server, JavaScript/Typescript, Databricks, SQL, Azure, and CosmosDB.
  • Advanced ETL experience preferred.
  • Previous Revenue Cycle or Healthcare experience highly preferred.
