About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Manager to join our team at Memorial Hospital of Laramie County. As a Phlebotomy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising phlebotomy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality control, and patient satisfaction.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accepts responsibility for employee selection, orientation, training, competency, and performance evaluation.
  • Creates Phlebotomy schedule and ensures department is staffed appropriately.
  • Completes employee payroll and PTO tasks.
  • Performs employee counseling and disciplinary actions as needed. Ensures occurrence reporting system follow-up and documentation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or Equivalent Certificate from an accredited program) or higher degree.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
  • Five (5) or more years of phlebotomy experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience.
