Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Role Overview:

The Speech-Language Pathologist or Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to students with communication disorders. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored therapy plans, and delivering direct therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed evaluations to identify speech and language challenges in students.
  • Create and execute personalized therapy strategies to address individual student needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services while tracking student progress to ensure effective results.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and school personnel to align therapy objectives with classroom activities.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, student advancements, and treatment strategies.
  • Modify therapy approaches and resources to accommodate the unique requirements of each student.

Qualifications:

  • For SLP: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure in Georgia, and relevant certification (e.g., CCC-SLP).
  • For SLPA: An Associate's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline, along with valid Georgia SLPA licensure.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience in a school environment is preferred but not mandatory.
