Job Summary

LeaderStat is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or manage them.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience working as a full-time Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery or a related specialty.
  • Clinical experience within the last 2 years, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Current State Licensure and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.).
