Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of grilled and broiled dishes, adhering to our exceptional standards.
- Ensure all food items are crafted and presented in line with our recipes and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee and maintain the grill station to guarantee efficient operation during service periods.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of all orders.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the grill area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Monitor food inventory levels and report any needs or discrepancies to the Executive Chef.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols as per local regulations and hotel policies.
- Contribute to the creation of new menu items and share innovative ideas for special dishes or seasonal offerings.
- Guide and mentor junior kitchen personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices in food preparation and safety.
- Demonstrated experience as a Grill Cook Specialist or in a comparable role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of grilling and broiling techniques, with the ability to cook meats, poultry, and seafood to the desired specifications.
- Capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining composure in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality dishes.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
