Position Overview:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing the daily activities within the warehouse environment. This position involves collaborating closely with the Assistant Manager to ensure efficient coordination and execution of warehouse tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key holder and leader on the warehouse floor, setting a standard for conduct, work ethic, and operational knowledge.
- Assign, direct, and oversee both full-time and temporary warehouse staff in their daily duties, focusing on production efficiency, safety, and organization.
- Operate and understand the functions of the ILS system and RF scanners for warehouse operations.
- Manage the operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) for picking, staging, and storage as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in training new associates on warehouse procedures and safety practices.

Administrative Duties:
- Review and verify shipping documentation for accuracy, ensuring proper lane assignments and driver allocations.
- Create load plans and route drivers effectively, understanding the principles of trailer space optimization.
- Supervise the loading process to ensure adherence to loading standards and the safe transport of goods.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree or relevant experience in logistics or business is preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and effective communication abilities.
- Leadership capabilities to motivate and guide team members.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Frequent bending, climbing, lifting (up to 40 lbs independently), pushing, and pulling are required.
- Must be adaptable to varying working conditions, including exposure to different temperatures.
