Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage center staff, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of each child.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare-licensing standards and Hill Country Community Action quality Head Start standards.
  • Attend ARD meetings and complete annual evaluations for employees supervised.
  • Model team leadership and ensure the teamwork concept is upheld and implemented at the center.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or Baccalaureate Degree in early childhood education or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' employment in a licensed child-care facility.
  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with, develop, and motivate employees to create a positive work environment.
