About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned security professional to focus on the overall security engineering of our global network. The successful candidate will provide engineering and technical support, security consulting, and implementation aspects related to security firewalls and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and manage Cisco and Palo Alto firewall platforms and associated infrastructure
  • Experience and knowledge of industry Network standards and protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and QOS design
  • Knowledge of secure network infrastructure, understanding core security concepts, managing secure access, VPN encryption, firewalls, intrusion prevention, web and email content security
  • Hands on experience with installation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of a secure network
  • LAN/WAN IP infrastructures including: routing, switching, wireless networks
  • Have knowledge in VPN, VRF, MPLS, and network routing, excellent knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Have working knowledge of Palo Alto and Cisco ASA Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies
  • Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 Switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
  • Understand and effectively present security platform to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build and assist with daily requests of changes to firewall policies
  • Assist as needed with support and management of the deployed PAN infrastructure including clusters of firewalls, Panorama, and Panorama logging devices; assist with support and management of Cisco firewalls
  • Provide troubleshooting support to address firewall related issues
  • Deliver improvements and recommendations for the firewall solutions post deployment
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based security offerings
  • Working knowledge of cloud service provider networking architectures (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player and willing to learn
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution
  • Mature and effective time-management skills
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in network security
