Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients to the Critical Care Unit, providing individualized care and attention to their unique needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
- Experience working in a Critical Care Unit or similar setting preferred.
