JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview:
The Automotive Technician is tasked with diagnosing issues and accurately determining the necessary repair actions while delivering services in compliance with safety standards.
This role involves supporting and guiding fellow team members and management, collaborating effectively to achieve shared objectives, and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough system diagnostics
Remove, install, and service vehicle components
Provide labor and time estimates for repairs
Compile accurate lists of parts and materials needed for repairs
Inspect and test vehicles to identify necessary repairs
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the shop and equipment
Engage in ongoing personal training to maintain ASE certifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
Dedication to excellence in service
Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
Capability to diagnose and repair various automotive vehicles
Familiarity with electrical diagnostics
Experience with both domestic and import vehicles, across various models
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsible and committed to a career in automotive service
Ability to mentor and train junior technicians
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturer and/or ASE certification; Graduate of an Automotive School
