About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in the Imaging Pavilion and MGB MRI department. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Siemens computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions and administer contrast material as needed
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment, positioning patients to capture appropriate images
  • Send images to radiologists for interpretation and reading
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist certification (ARRT-R) required
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within one year from start date
  • Venipuncture certification required
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience with Siemens brand scanners preferred
