Job Title: Full Time Laboratory Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Education Specialist to join our team at i4 Search Group. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will be responsible for managing the training of laboratory personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and conduct orientation and training sessions for laboratory staff
  • Perform IT background work to maintain laboratory systems
  • Manage education records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Promote a positive work environment and foster collaboration among team members
  • Train and mentor laboratory assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Uphold health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Handle security documents and maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain specialized software and ensure it is up-to-date
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the laboratory team
Requirements:
  • Active Clinical Laboratory Scientist license within the state of practice
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • Three to five years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician, with additional experience in education
  • Excellent managerial skills and ability to multitask
  • Expert knowledge of laboratory health and safety protocols
