Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, WY. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing biological specimens, ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biological specimens from patients
  • Verify patient demographics and specimen information
  • Aliquot and label specimens according to established procedures
  • Deliver specimens to the technical area in a timely manner
  • Assist in monitoring workflow and training new employees
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of department resources
  • Phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience
  • DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
