HealthCare Support is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech to join our team in Minot, North Dakota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech to perform clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist or Ultrasound Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, as well as principles of ultrasound.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform TTE, TEE, SE, pediatric echo, carotid duplex, lower and upper extremity venous duplex, and other exams/procedures as determined by the supervising Technologist.
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images.
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician.
  • Assist in department monitoring workflow, record keeping, and quality management.
  • Report ultrasound equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor or staff member.
  • Maintain a functional work area and adequate supplies.
  • Participate in the department accreditation process.
  • Interact with patients accordingly, utilizing visual aids and other resources as needed.
  • Acknowledge customers and keep customers appropriately informed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and use proper voice, email, and telephone etiquette.
Requirements:
  • MR registered or registry pending NDMIRTBE licensed Registered Radiologic Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced education in MR; Registered in MR preferred.
