Key Responsibilities

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct a variety of technical procedures to generate high-quality MRI images, exercising independent judgment and creativity.
  • Ensure patient comfort and care throughout the imaging process.
  • Assess and provide appropriate care tailored to the age groups of patients, including toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret patient information in relation to their needs and possess a solid understanding of growth and development.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • State registration as a Radiologic Technician.
  • Registered Radiographer certification (ARRT).
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program.
  • MRI certification or the ability to obtain it within nine months of employment.
