We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue cycle processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and evaluate revenue integrity operations, including medical necessity denials and loss leaders.
- Develop and implement systems to manage revenue cycle operations, including tracking mechanisms and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical departments, health information management, and the business office, to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations.
- Provide education and training to staff on revenue cycle processes and policies.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on current healthcare revenue cycle trends and regulatory changes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education or 2 years' experience preferred.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with hospital bill processing and insurance practices, including HCPC/CPT/UB04 experience, modifiers, Medicare APC's, and billing regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform work duties with minimal supervision and willingness to learn new tasks.
