Position Summary: The Senior Technician role demands your expertise in diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, alongside your leadership abilities to guide a team towards exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Compensation: Pay Range: $29.43 per hour. Our technicians benefit from a performance-based compensation model, rewarding skilled professionals with a set amount for each completed task, promoting efficiency and fair recognition of your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications.
- Work on brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-technical individuals.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
- Assist fellow technicians in technical tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid automobile driver's license.
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program, or equivalent skills demonstrated through certifications.
- A.S.E. certification in at least three areas (A1-A8) is required.
- Maintain relevant Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
