We are seeking a skilled Nurse Substitute to provide health services to students in the absence of the regular campus Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License, as well as experience in school nursing. This role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently to implement district policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide health services to students, including administering medications and monitoring health conditions
* Support student success by promoting, practicing, improving, and maintaining student, staff, and community health
* Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health-related policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of student health information
Requirements:
* Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License
* Valid CPR Certification
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Current practical working knowledge of nursing procedures and techniques relevant to children
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
