Job Overview

New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a faculty position in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring medical students in a system-based curriculum, as well as conducting research and guiding students in scholarly activity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide didactic lectures to first and second year medical students.
  • Facilitate small-group learning sessions in first and second academic years.
  • Mentor medical students throughout their medical school training.
  • Serve on committee to fulfill institutional and departmental needs.
  • Conduct bench or scholarly research and guide students in scholarly activity.
Qualifications
  • PhD with expertise in microbiology/immunology is preferred.
  • Post-doctoral training and/or teaching experience preferred.

Salary Information
