About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Performing electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviewing and leading electrical safety programs for the plant maintenance team.
  • Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical/mechanical problems.
  • Adhering to all quality systems and safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
  • Making recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes.
  • Serving as a safety program leader.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A High School diploma/GED equivalent with 2-3 years of Industrial Electrician/Maintenance experience, or an Associate's Degree or two-year Trade School Degree in a Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work at heights above 25 feet and in a variety of environments, including chilly warehouses and greasy machine parts.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
  • PLC knowledge/Automation skills and/or additional industrial maintenance work experience.
