We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II Procedures to join our team at UNC Medical Center. As a member of our Float Pool, you will provide high-quality patient care in various procedural areas, including outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in procedural areas, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop effective care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop relationships with families to promote their ability to advocate for the patient and their own needs.
- Participate in education programs to enhance knowledge and skills, and utilize patient education materials relevant to the patient population.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
