About the Role

iSoftTek Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Operational Logistics Manager to join our team in Mandeville, LA.

Job Summary:

The Operations Coordinator is a crucial role responsible for coordinating service delivery and administrative functions for workshop service orders. This includes ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and effective management of service work orders for the Service Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open communication with service managers and internal customers regarding service work orders.
  • Analyze each request for quote to ensure accurate creation of quotes and orders that meet customer needs.
  • Record and track time and travel expenses related to service personnel working on the job.
  • Invoice service work orders and ensure bookings are correct, totals match the customer PO.
  • Resolve any discrepancies on the service work order.
  • Support AR aging inquiries; follow to resolution.
  • Manage optimum communications and relationships with internal customers, followed up on open quotes and orders to identify opportunities and maximize revenue.
  • Coordinate with various departments involved in the service delivery process to facilitate team collaboration and timely delivery of orders.
  • Organize and prioritize daily as well as ongoing requests from internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist in overseeing the work quality and productivity of staff.
  • Business-related tasks include Workshop Processes and Organization (cleanliness, layout, workflow), End-Product Reliability/Quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurate record keeping, measurements, professional condition, and service reporting Time Efficiency, Cost Management, Technician Safety.
  • Customer Experience (regular schedule updates).
  • Proactive updates to internal/external stakeholders as needed.
  • Designing and implementing workshop efficiency-improving processes.
  • Compiling all information for CLEAN billing within 5 business days from completion of the job (0 mistakes in billing and reports).
  • Quality Control, internal and external stakeholder feedback (management surveyed).
  • Assist in Year-over-Year efficiency improvement: workshop margin increase min. 3%, target 5%, vs same QTR year prior.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require technical knowledge/experience in maritime and energy industries, exceptional customer service orientation, technical sales knowledge, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents, solid negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.

Education and Experience Requirements:

An associate's or bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain and distribution, technical science, or other related area, or equivalent experience of a minimum of 3 years related work experience.

Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
