Job Summary

Ace Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Specialist to join our team in providing top-notch service and maintenance for overhead cranes and hoists.

This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting heavy equipment, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interface with customers and office staff.

About the Role

The Crane Technician and Maintenance Expert will be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities, evaluating and making recommendations regarding required repairs, and maintaining rapport with customers by examining complaints and identifying solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery, including electrical circuits and mechanical systems.
  • Perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria and document findings.
  • Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations and responding to repair calls.
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment service and maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
