Cardiac Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses.
Responsibilities:- Monitor patient's cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medications.
- Perform assessments of patient's cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptoms.
- Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices.
- React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
