Electrical Foreman Job Description

Spark Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to provide technical expertise, project supervision, and administrative support for our operations in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications.
  • Perform jobs safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, gathering information about their needs and formulating plans to meet their expectations.
  • Prepare reports and communicate with branch staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Make decisions with minimal supervision, based on relevant experience and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, and/or institutional sectors.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Working knowledge of all relevant electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).
  • Thorough ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills within the team and with external customers.
  • Strong eye for Quality Assurance and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proficiency with computer programs (Microsoft programs, email, time entry).
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 30% of time).
