We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Taylorsville, NC.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40-$65 per hour. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, professional liability, and both long-term and short-term disability.

About the Role

This contract-based position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to develop strategies that enhance students' communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with autism and other behavioral challenges.
  • Assisting teachers and support staff in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive social skills.
  • Collecting and recording data on student progress, behavior, and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborating with special education teams to tailor strategies for individual student needs.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
