Job Summary:

The Fabrication Category Lead will drive operational excellence for fabricators and associated categories across the globe for Engineered Solutions.

This role requires a seasoned Procurement/Supply Chain professional with expertise in:

  • Meeting deadlines for fabricated equipment delivery
  • Driving Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management activities for fabricated equipment
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing based on Total Value of Ownership (TVO)
  • Working with Engineering and Fabrication Category Manager to facilitate budgeting and Purchase Order issuance
  • Collaborating with Logistics for equipment pickup, shipping, and warehousing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Supply Chain for the Fabricated Equipment Segment
  • Develop and drive best practices and targets related to purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and transportation management
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with a cross-functional team to avoid supply chain disruption
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements
  • Manage cost management for sales proposals (Quote and COGS database management)
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience, with a preference for technical engineering experience
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment design drawings
  • Individuals must possess a can-do attitude, open, flexible thinking, technical aptitude, and a commitment to creating value for customers
  • Six or more years of purchasing, supply chain, and leadership experience
  • Demonstrable experience in collaborating with a cross-functional team globally, creating value for end customers, and driving operational excellence
  • Ability to drive change management

Proven Experience:
Terms and conditions review, negotiation, and execution

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity and ethics
  • Multilingual and ability to support global cultural differences
  • Ability to use ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP, is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
